THE TIGER 1964 Published by THE ANNUAL STAFF Reidsville High School - Reidsville, Georgia ELIZABETH HODGES Editor BARBARA KENNEDY Business Manager ANGIE SHUMAN NANCY JO HODGES Assistant Editor Assistant Business Manager MRS. KELLA SMITH Advisor FOREWORD With our school year coming to a close, we pause to look back upon the friends and happiness we have had. This year has been one filled with many experi- ences which we shall never forget. The joys, the sor- rows, the fun and the hard work - these are all part of our memories of this past year. In the 1964 TIGER we have tried to preserve for you through pictures these memories of RHS. THE TIGER STAFF CONTENTS Dedication Freshmen Faculty Elementary Seniors Favorites Juniors Athletics Sophomores Organizations Advertising DEDICATION MISS SARAH LYNN ROUNTREE The TIGER Staff of 1964 proudly and affectionately dedicates the 1964 TIGER to our first grade teachers, Miss Sarah Lynn Rountree and Mrs. Alma Jordan. It was their priceless gifts of love, knowledge, guidance, and in- spiration that gave us a good start. They have truly touched our hearts and lives. MRS. ALMA JORDAN IN MEMORY OF On February 27, 1963, Mary Ann Curry died in a tragic accident. The Reidsville community lost a fine young Christian girl and atrueAmer- ican; one who devoted her short life of service to her family, church, community, and friends. Hers was a full heart and a rich existence. The void that Mary Ann left is filled with memory, love, and a spir- it that proved itself to those who knew her. We shall always remem- ber Mary Ann, her smile, and her friendly manner. ADMINISTRATION TATTNALL COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION Left to right: R. £. Kicklighter, County School Supt.; Dr. L. V.
