In this, your '63 RENOCASHI, we have used Thornton Wilde r' s play OUR TOWN as our the me. Each section revolves around an appropriate quote or parody from OUR TOWN. Through pictures and words we have attempted to capture the small things as Well as the large things which are of importance to us. Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it--every, every minute? tnl, ltt:iitillls RUCELQQO T w ttiiitlit tlQslmlJATEQl1l, llillll, 3 l n .iw-,. -, Y, , ,,.::w,,:-Pj .,- 1' Ja'-wa'-cff' 5,9 1fgg,5.,1q,,. .3 V mi 'iff 1ff:.fQif15'3Y5g4h' xc, I V .Je fwLl5r'v- ' -7537 f fL1f 'L: fl-,-'vu-H , r :Q 1 ,:,. , LIL Foreword , Dedication . . Steadfast devo- tion and sincerity are the qualities of a friend, and such a friend is Mr. Tank Nelson. Mr. Nelson seems to inspire all those he comes in contact with by his cheerfulness and keen interest in others. His influence has grown as has the love his students have for him. We, the Senior Class of'63, fondly dedicate our'63 RENOCASHI to Mr. Tank Nelson, our beloved teacher and friend. 5 English Amp. f' fc: - mg- Administration tmfxs T IDN T X 1. ,,,, ' - 1 f-Q-N 1 X P -fb QT o X S xv .ll my A Social Studies -xgvf-,Q:t.2-. . ,. Some of our school days were milestones of joy, some defeat, and some days so memorable that they will never be erased from our minds. We shall never forget those rousing pep rallies, scathing conferenc e games, and nerve racking, finger-biting exam days. Each extra-curricular activity added new dimensions to our school days. In future years, We can look back to these activities as a replica of our youth. And when we have reached 'our future expectations, we can lookback to our school days and say with all sincerity that Reidsville, North Carolina, was our starting point. But the success and fun that we enjoy in our athletic endeavors are due not to any one individual but to all those who participate: the players, the cheerleaders, the coaches, and the students and teachers who so loudly support us. In the years that follow, the athletes will go their separate ways and perhaps not even participate in sports again, but they will long be influenced by the lessons they learned in the ups and downs of athletic competition. Come along with us and take a look at the football, basketball, and baseball players, wrestlers, golfers, and cheerleaders who so earnestly represented our school and Our Town this year. These people are all successful in their various vocational fields and are now using their success to better mankind. They will, in two hours, board a supersonic roc- ket on its way to the planet Mars. Before lift-off time, let us scan this group assembled here and attempt to reveal a picture of these future pilgrims of space.
