IC ' T is a joint effort of schools and employers to provide on the job training for high school juniors and seniors in the oc- cupation of their choice. Students take their required courses during the morning and after lunch they go to their on-the-job training stations. S t u d e n ts can use this program to get a i)ermanent job or to get pre-lraining before going to Trade and Industrial Industrial Cooperatii Training I Technical Drafting The technical drafting program is offered to all student-s in- terested in mechanical antl architectural drafting or a related field as a career. The drafting program develops skills and abilities for creating technical drawings. The first year program imhidcs mate- rials and instruments, lettering sections, pictorial drawings, and a introthution to anhitectunil drafting. The second year program is an advanced course designed to provide detail studies in both mechanical and ar«-hitectural drafting. Upon satisfactory comple- tion of this program, student.s are capable of working as apprentice lraftsmen with skills in technical drawiiif and design capabilities in archite -tural drafting.
