OUR PRINCIPAL AND OUR COUNSELOR The duties of a principal are many and varied, but Sister Magdala remains composed through them all. Chief among her interests is the welfare - spiritual, educational, and phys- ical - of each faculty member and student at Reicher High. SISTER MARY MAGDALA, C.S.J. REVEREND MARK DEERING Father Deering is Reicher High's counselor-at- large, junior and senior religion instructor, and chief rooter at all athletic events. Ds-.., Father Deering, in the name of Monsignor Kearns, presents Sister Magdala with a portrait in color of His Holiness Pope John XXIII. The picture now hangs in the foyer of the school opposite a matching portrait of Bishop Reicher.
