HI, FOLKSY At our last look, our basketball team was leading the Freshman flock, with the assistance of four men from the Wrens -Archie McDonnell, Bob Stibler, Dick Emmons, and Traugott Lawler . . . We proudly saw Frank 0'Regan, Tom Tierney, and Ed Harrison star on the stage for the Parents' Night program . . . Bill Ungvarsky, Tom Tierney, and Jim Burch made the Glee Club, and Bob Stanko and Frank 0'Regan won places in the Orchestra . . . Ted Dudiak is Secretary of Freshman Debate, of which Art Gherdovich is Vice President . . . The names of Ted Dudiak and Frank Franks appear in the Masthead of the Owl, and Ed Glamkowski is Vice Prefect of Sodality . . . I CLOSING ENTRY FOR I-D: We had a fairly good year of it in athletics, eventually taking the Freshman crown in Intra- mural Basketball , . . Steve Sarsfielcl, who won the 'iMost Valuable Player trophy in lntra-mural Basketball, captained the Wrens besides. . , Phil Trainor won renown both with the Wrens and in inter-class Football . . . We also had two members of the Glee Club, Fred Burgess and Matt Tiffert . . . Phil Trainor was an officer in the Freshman Sodality , . . An unfailing source of fun and cheerfulness among our own group was Ben Trigani . . . A big event of the year was the first semester Sodality Day: our Class won the basketball competi- tion put on by members of the Jogues Sodality, We were sparked by the stellar play of Carl Franco, Tom Curley, Ben Trigani, and Fred Burgess. 30
