The ceaseless, breaking waves roll in upon the sandy beach of time, erasing all before them. Rolling in and carrying away all that they reach— all the cherished moments, treasured memories, fond scenes, dear friends. Nothing is safe; nothing stems the tide of the ceaseless roll and wash of time. To form a breakwater which will hold the events, moments, happenings of the school year; to hold them as if in the frozen stillness of a great glitter- ing white tower, is the aim of the 1956 RANGER. These are the moments one longs to remember; these are the events which forever close the door on the last of the boy; these are the times which open the door on the newly molded man. These are great days. These are the recordings of the 1956 RANGER.
