1954 Foreword Here in our album of memories, we have tried to capture glimpses of our last four inspirational and constructive years at Regis. Each event is recalled, from the comical trials of Freshman days and our new Sophomore week end to the supreme happiness of Junior Week and the memor- able traditions of Senior year. Through examinations, parties and proms, in classes and in Chapel, during retreats and vacations, we have been to- gether, as friendly groups united to form the loyal whole. Our memories unite. The business world, religious or married life will divide our class. But when we re- turn, our memories will once again knit the Class of 1954. With hopes raised high, faith and trust rooted deeply, we shall endeavor to put our ideals into practice. Fortified with spiritual and intellectual weapons, with the true philosophy, with zeal and devo- tion, with charity and love, we shall take our places in a world that is torn by oppos- ing forces and ideals. This is the book of our life at Regis. Each leaf is a page in our life; each new picture, a memory; each tradition, a mile- stone to a goal finally attained. Here is the story of our past. Whatever the future may hold, we know success will not be meas- ured by a material guide. We have dis- covered the Way and the Truth. With these we shall attempt to continue to lead the Life with both humility and pride, under the royal patronage of Mary Im- maculate.
