WHAT IS CRACKER JACKS 1® . . . a box filled with candy coated popcorn, peanuts and a prize. ® AND WHAT IS REGINA? . . . a school filled with students and faculty, events, social gatherings, and a spirit of unity. Symbolically, Regina is like a box filled with Cracker Jacks.® Each ingredient represents a different aspect of Regina life. THE POPCORN is the main ingredient. It represents the students, faculty and staff that fill Regina. Like popcorn, we come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and textures. A small kernel is like a Freshman, eager to be popped. Throughout her four years at Regina, she is continuously exploding in self discovery. To top it all, the sugar-coating makes the popcorn special, with a unique flavor. They represent special events, plays, Bolivian Fairs, and basketball games, that add life to an ordinary day at Regina. If you were to spill that contents of a box of Cracker Jacks® out, the peanuts would be few in number compared to the popcorn. Yet, the peanuts are packed with flavor and spirit and are also dipped in the same sugar-coating that makes them so sweet and special. THE PRIZE is intangible, and each of us received a different prize from Regina. You may treasure those memories of extra-ordinary events, or the close friends who shared so much, or the tremendous amount of school spirit, visible at a basketball game.
