Peter and Paul Parish; the Reverend Eugene Gallagher, Mother of God Parish. - In 1951, the Archdiocesan School Board was established under the Presidency of His Excellency, the Most Reverend Archbishop Karl J. Alter, D.D. The functions of this Board include assigning the tributary parishes to the inter-parochial high schools, to establish tuition rates, and to determine matters of policy in respect to these schools as a group. Emanating from the Archdiocesan School Board are the Inter Parochial High School Boards operating under the jurisdiction of the former Board. Membership of the High School Board is composed of the pastors of the tributary parishes. The Board may appoint a group of its members as an executive committee to transact minor business matters with the approval of the Board. The principal of the high school is an ex ofhciot mem- ber of the Board. 7
