“CLASS HISTORY (CONT.) in high school. That year we elected class officers as follows: president, Frank Chavez; vice-president, Rosalie Oeder; secretary, Evelyn DuRussell; and treasurer, Wilmer Kamm, Our class advisor was Mr, H. Burgess. In September we received our class rings, which were made of 10K sterling and gold, (Because of a shortage of gold at the time, we had to be satisfied with sterling silver as a substitute.) We also or¬ dered our class sweaters and received them during the Christmas vacation. In October we participated in the magazine campaign ahd made $43 for the class treasury. On April 20. 1945, we presented our first class play, u Tre Mad Hatters”, under the direction of Miss M. Stolz c Although all of us were frightened at first, we soon recovered; and the play was considered one of the best ever given by Reese High School, The junior? and seniors sponsored the annual prom at the Fischer Hotel Xn Frankenmuth It was great success, with every one having a good time. a The following September we began our senior year class, having lost Maryellen in tne with only tvxjve .... , Humpertv This year the last one to be spent at Rees High and also the one v e had been eagerly anticipat¬ ing for three years r The class officers for the yearj have been as follows $ president, Wilmer Kamm; vice- president , Frank bnave z treasurer, Bernard A 4 W. In November we competed with the Juniors in a magazine campaign, making 2o for our class treasury cont.
