Volleyball Jayvee And Frosh Have A Fine Season The Jayvee and Frosh teams both did extremely well this season. The Frosh ended up 4-3 with nearly even record. The girls' cross country team won the conference title in 1983 for the first time. Leading runners at this meet were Renee Schutz and Julie Cathcart which gave them all conference standing. Other top runners during the year included Debbie Koehler, Laurie Dischler, Lori Ketter, and Lynn Deakin. They also won many invita- tional and meets during the year. Netters Lose Six Seniors After this season, the Varsity will be losing six seniors. The girls end- ed up 4TH in conference standings with a 4-4 record. The seniors won most of the awards this year, The- resa Spencer won the Most Valuea- ble. Kenda Mead received the Hus- tle Award. Jenny Horkan was Most Dedicated. The Most Improved Player was earned by Cindy Jaech. Finally, Brooke Corwith won the Senior Player Award.
