A cold mud soaked Beaver football team arrived back in Reedsburg with a police escort after a 7-0 conference winning vic- tory over Wis. Dells. This highlighted a season that started with a non-conference victory over Sauk but was followed losses to Logan and Mauston. From here the up hill battle for the co-conference cham- pionship required 6 consecutive victories including a 10-6 win over co-conference champions, Tomah.
