(3) As an added attraction to the home- coming events, the Webb Staff sponsored a T-Shirt contest. Here are the eight finalists and their winning shirts: freshmen Sara Hanusa and Kellie Jackson, Ju- nior Kay Klitzke, sophomore Cindy Meeks. Junior Pau- la Christian, sophomore Dina Corwith and seniors Dan MacAfee and Leslie Schultz. (4) Being number 1 in- cludes winning the South Central football champion- ship. (5) Laurie Knight was Webb's number 1 girls' tennis player in the fall sports season, and of course (6) there's the number 1 senior float. 7

The 1978 homecoming celebration included many festivities and was topped off by a victory over the Mauston Golden Eagles. Right: Queen Jan Schroeder was accompanied by minature king and queen Mike Riber- ich and Karen Kaslowski on the pa- rade route. Far Right: The pep club had a very busy Thursday evening decorating houses. Below: The vol- leyball and cross country teams were added to this year's homecoming celebration, while below right: the marching band added apirit to the parade with the school song. Bottom Left: The spectacular bonfire. Bot- tom Right: Judy Deakin and Bob Schroeder added some life to the float making fun.
