Building Memories of Loyally W on and a Winter Prom Almost at the lop of their goal stand the juniors. They have started to build a good record for themselves by winning Loyalty in their Sophomore year. This year they have started hy winning the two Loyalty points for Home coming skit and Open House. They are also leading the first semester with the most Loyalty points. There are many junior boys who are active in football and basketball. V 'e also have a number of lettermen. Their musical abi l«y is shown by the large number of junior participants in the band and choir. The juniors, as a (lass, take part in all school activities. One of the big highlights of the junior class was its Prom. This year they chose the theme. Winter Fantasy.” The rouples entered the W'inter Wonderland over a bridge and frozen stream and then danced through the f'antasy to the music of Dan Garson. Their reigning King and Queen were John Kutzback and Connie Merkel. Tbey have chosen for their leaders: Wilbert Ohland. President Bob Bergman. Vice President, and Verna Dougl as. Secretary-Treasurer.  SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Here we arr at tlir close of our lourtfi ancf last year at R.H.S. They were very successful year . u keel with fun. work, honor , and a few disappoint merits. We entered R.H.S. in 1950 and went through initiation without any fatalities. That year we chose Rodney Henn. Pres., Rita Horkan. lohn Bill, and Peter Montgomery. Loyalty Rep.: Afire IjiRue. Sec.-Treas.. and John Hanusa. Vicc-Pre . of our class. To lead us through our sophomore year, we elected Melvin Ijcht. Pres.: Gloria Giufenherg. Vice-Pres.: Yvonflc Schulz. Sec.-Treas.: Muggs Lathrope. Pal Ziech. and Dirk Jewell. Loyalty Rvp. Still showing our characteristic initia- tive and vivacity, we took firsts for our homecoming float and yell and spon sored a very successful dance - the Shadow Dance. A Jr ., our class rings came in Dec. and brought excitement galore. Our Prom. ’’April In Paris’’ was April 17 with Melvin Licht and Judy Rice reign ing. and it was beautiful beyond words. During our Jr. year six of our girls were cheerleaders and two were majorettes. Our officers for this year were Pres., Bill Giese; Vice-Pres.. Muggs Dithrop: Sec.-Treas.. Pat Ziech; I-oyalty Rep., Dick Jewel, Anna Haugh. and Dana Curtin. In 1051 we became the Big Wheels . and elected Marvin Alt. Pres.: Gloria l aufenberg. Sec.-Treas.; Jim Mielkie. Vice-Pres.: Loyalty Rep.. Laveme Schaeffer. Paul Sutton, and Dick Jewell. We received firsts on our Homecom- ing floats and John Bill and Monie O Brien were king and queen of the fes- tivities. The Sr. class play. THP. DIVINE FLORA, was presented on April 10. and was very successful. D.A.R. award winner was Pat Ziech. So passed four of the best years of our life.
