Under the able direction of Bandmaster Ritzen- thaler, it is one of the most active groups on the midway. The rous- ing strains of The Star Spangled Banner preceded each football and basketball game, and at Homecoming, the pep band help- ed to enliven the spirits of the participants and spectators. Strutting maiorettes and purple and white uniforms could be seen while the band paraded at football games, the Armistice Day ceremony, and other affairs of school and community. The concerts presented at the audi- torium climaxed a successful year for this musical aggregation.
