For three years the class of '75 had upperclassmen to look up to, but now they found themselves at the top. Some found it difficult to convince themselves that they were finally seniors while others caught the senioritis bug and comfortably settled back into their role of a big senior. Whichever way it was, all could readily agree that time had passed too quickly. They finally understood what all those upperclass men in the past had told them--Make the most of your four high school years because they go by so soon. The seniors did just that. They were an example that the word spirit is synonymous to the word senior. They were the rowdiest bunch at rallies and, as a result, usually kept possession of the Pirate treasure chest. Money-making pro- jects took them from scrounging for old newspapers and glass bottles to selling yummy home-baked goodies. The money earned went towards preparing for the prom, the Disney- land trip, and the Senior Class present to RHS. This spirited class knew that they couldn't let their senior year go by without making it the best one ever, and it's clear by noting all their activi- ties that they succeeded. For the class of 1975 the days of sparkling football games, crunchy frozen bananas, A slushy tromps to classes, and dreamy proms have passed, but no one has forgotten the Monday blahs, screams of TGIF's, warm laughter, forever handshakes and hellos, racing against tardy bells, and last minute cramming. The worries and decisions of selecting class colors, measuring for caps and gowns, handing in scholarship applications, and ordering senior pictures have been completed. Nothing remains for the graduat- ing seniors but stored-away memories. 14 SENIORS E IDR
