Coach Lehman, Manuel Hemandez l 4 l P Tiger Country-Best for '73 1 Ray Gilson and Rick Biggs each received two specia awards. Coach Perkins tabbed them team co-captains. Gilson was the outstanding offensive lineman land Biggs was most inspirational. Coach Perkins announced that Calvin Young was most valuable, anc most improved on offense was Curetis IVIc Nealy, with Dave Nlorton most improved on defense. Robert Price was the outstanding defensive lineman. Out- 'iged standing offensive back was Dave Sharp, outstanding defensive back was Carl Derrick, and the outstanding achievement award went to Randy Cervelli. Coach Tom Tyner named Jeff Mitchell as most val- uable water polo team member, most improved was Bert Engstrom, and team captain was Richard Dial. Coach Lehman Alan Kawakami Coach Bob Lehman named Nlanuel Hernandez, cross country team ' captain and most valuable and winner of the Lehmathon Award. Nlost improved cross country runner was Alan Kawakami . Elaine F. Rouch named Bryan Peterson the outstanding student leader.
