K 'CS' Mr. Sorrelle and members ofthe Water Ski Club make plans for a coming trip. 5 I ... The Investment Club was added to Redwood's list of clubs and organizations this past year. Mem- bers met Monday and Wednesday at noon each week. The purpose of the club was to increase onels understanding of stock market operations and how current events affect prices. After studying the mar- ket the group purchased shares oftheir own. Investment Club President was Kirk Grey, Vice- President, Joe Enzanspergerg and Secretary-Trea- surer, Bud Broomhead. The club advisor was Mr. Freeman Blake. This year was the second year for Redwood's Archeology Club. The members went on various digs every weekend, including trips to an area in Tiburon where an Indian burial was found. At their meetings they discussed what they found at the last dig , and they talked about where they were going for the next one. The President for the second time was Liz Mur- ray andthe advisor was Mr. John Lighty. The Water-Skiing Club, new to Redwood this year, was a great success. The club began meeting early in the year to discuss future trips and member- ship. The first meeting drew 68 people. To become a member the applicant must go on one of the club's trips and pass a written test to prove his ability as a skier. Most of the trips this year were to Lake Berryessa for one day. However, weekend trips were also planned. Water-Skiing Club officers for this year were: President, Joe Akers, Vice President, Don Wallace, The tools ofthe archeologist. and Secretary, Julie Matthews. The club advisor was Mr. Jack Sorrelle.
