SPRING OFFICERS Q-J gal, -'48, ROW 'I-Carol Briedenstein Secretary Buffy Cooney Treasurer ROW 2 Randy Keller President Gary Jimenez Vice President Leadership, optimism, and advancements in the area of citizenship were the key notes of the graduating class of 1963 With the advent of Senior Privilege Cards, 130 Seniors found themselves setting a new tradition to be followed by future graduating classes. Another achievement was Redwood's newly created Senior quad, which was made into a sanctuary for Seniors Victory was the theme set by the Senior Class as hundreds of spectators gathered on Thanksgiving Day to watch the Varsity Football team under the captainship of Senior Jim Troppman, defeat the Indians of Tam. Capabilities as young aspiring thespians were exhibited by Seniors when the two theatrical events were presented in Redwood's new Little Theater. These two events were Taming of the Shrew and the musical South Pacific. During winter months the class was led by Don Rogers in the office of President. He was aided by Randy Keller, Jill Lerner, and Ann Rowland who were Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer respectively. Then as frost melted Randy Keller assumed the post of class president with his new aides for spring term.
