ROW 2-Scott Murphy, Ray Maher, Steve White, Curt Richardson, Jack Baglietto, Scott Davi, Terry Jarcik, Bill Kilcoyne, Jim Troppmann, Pat Puccinelli. This year's edition of the Redwood Giants is the youngest in the team's history. The squad is composed of 5 seniors, 7 iuniors, and 6 sophomores. The team is led by two three-year veterans, Jim Troppmann and Terry Jarcik. The latter was an all-leaguer last year and is expected to repeat his performance this year. Many faces are missing from last year's team that finished second in the league and had an overall record of 15-9. Sophomores Jack Baglietto, Don Poole, Scott Murphy, Tom Gootherts, Pat Puccinelli, Bill Kilcoyne, along with seniors Steve White and Kit Bricca and iunior Steve Minutoli will carry the lead this year. The Giants finished the first half of the practice schedule with a 2-2-'I record. The outstanding game was against Oakland where Scott Davi pitched a 2-0 shutout. In their first Marin County League game, Redwood defeated Novato 5-4 in 10 innings. The future looks bright in Giantsville, with young iuniors and sophomores and the iunior varsity and frosh teams.
