4 The Girls' Athletic Association was organized this year under the direction of Miss Reed and Miss Foster. The As- sociation included many G.A.A. mem- bers from Tamalpais and Drake with additional members joining for the first time from the freshmen and upper classes at Redwood. During the fall season the girls had an opportunity to take G.A.A. soft- ball, basketball, modern dancing, and trampoline. Spring sports offered to members included volleyball, badmin- ton, archery, and trampoline. In the winter months members went on a ski trip and attended several sports days and conferences. This year, for the first time, G.A.A. sweatshirts were available to the girls. The sweatshirt tradition will be car- ried on in the future.
