THIRD ROXY: Brian McQueen, George Grant, Under the direction of Mr. Sidney Gordon, music instructor, pep and marching bands were organized early in the Hrst semester. These bands provided entertainment and promoted school spirit at games, rallies, and programs. The Marching Band, although hampered by lack of uniforms and marching experience, provided half time entertainment and pepped up the rooters during the games. The band, which plays only for school ac- tivities such as programs, rallies, and dances is an extra-curricular activity. The music to be played is chosen by both the boys and their leader. music instructor, Mr. Arthur XY'igell. H4 Presenting a Christmas Concert was the first project undertaken by the A Capella Choir. Visits to the College of Pacihc in Stockton and to San Jose State College were some of the activities in which the Choir participated. A Spring Concert climaxed the year.
