Though a small club, it is very active. Under the guidance of Mr. johnson, faculty sponsor, the group has gone on many Held trips. One trip was to Sausalito to see a model of San Francisco Bay that showed the movements of the Bay's waters. Another trip took the club to the Richfield Oil Refinery to observe the stages in processing oil. FIRST ROXV: Gerry Silverfield, Mike Griem, Barton Lane, Clinton Lane, Kim XY'est, Buzz Rigsbee, Henry Brainerd, Baxter Smillie. SECOND ROXY: jerry Whitney, Steve Mathews, john Kreutzmann, Larry Loomer, Ed Schulze, jon Katz.

MATH CL B Another newly organized club this year is the Math Club. The main purpose of this organization is to promote student interest in math by making the subject easier to understand, The club members themselves study the use of math in everyday life. THIRD ROW: Clint Lane, Dana Bean, Marilyn Miller, Jeanne Taylor, Barbara Krause, Jerri Miller, Sue Ghee, Jeanne Ongaro, Kathy Meyers, Anne Hermann, Joyce Muller. The Art Club was formed to provide an oppor- tunity for students interested in art to receive fur- ther experience. The club aided the publicity committee in mak- ing posters for various school affairs. B Activities for the year included visiting a silk screen plan in Sausalito and taking a trip to the Art Museum in San Francisco. All activities and projects undertaken by the Art Club were designed to give practical experience and help the members gain a great appreciation of art.
