Don Buckley. Rick Krueger. Kayser. Courtney Kramer. Lynda Gustafson. TOP LEFT: Myron Tigris Euphrates” was the slogan that kicked off the Homecoming festivities for 1967. The busy weeks of preparation were climaxed when co-captains Dick Nelson and Bob Wetmore crowned Jan Halter as reigning queen for Homecoming 1967. Her attendants were Lynda Gustafson, Karen Knudsen. Courtney Kramer, and Diane Stanton. The charm of an honorary queen. Ruth Kayser. 1967 AFS student, was an added attraction in all the Homecoming activities. Spirits Dampened Defeats Queen Jan accepts her honor. Bob Wetmore sang Sweetheart of Redwood High as the traditional book was passed around for the queen and her court to sign. A hilarious skit was presented displaying homecoming queens of the past. The half-time ceremonies at the game were enhanced by the percision marching and pep music of the RFHS band. Although the Cardinals lost the game 25-7. their fierce playing gave our opponent a rough time. The Homecoming dance had a new twist this year with the theme Psychedelia.” with music provided by the Rare Faction.” 19
