J r.-Sr. Prom Night X 3 The Juniors worked many hours on the 1983-84 Prom. May 18, the cafetorium was beautifully decorated. Brad Garner and Kim Burnett were elected Prom King and Queen. UIL WINNERS Redwater High School placed second over-all in District l8AA UIL Academic Contests, even though no Redwater Students participated in any of the speech contests. Reverend Haaland was the guest speaker. ,ugr..,, Baseball The Redwater Baseball team enjoyed a fine '84 season. They compiled a 10-8 overall recordg with a 6-4 mark in district. This record gave the Dragons a tie with New Diana for 2nd place in district behind Ore City. ll'-,L Elementary Olympics is an annual spring event. Jr. High enjoyed its traditional field day in the Spring. All students participated in track and field events and had a really good time. The Jr. High Graduation was held on May 21, in the High School Cafetorium. Janet Daily was Valedictorian, and Darren Clark was Salutatorian. Thursday May 21 was an event ful day with the fifth grade and Kindergarten Both held graduation exercises in the cafetorium High School l Graduation The graduating class of 1984 held its commencement exercises on June 1, in the High School Cafetorium.
