Night and Party Every Day. I Queen, Tori Brillantes and escort, Jeff Lyle dancing to the queen's song. V Somewhere, Over the Rainbow, the annual Red and White Week was ended with a well-attended dance sponsored by Semper Comites, girls' service club. The week itself was missing the usual activities- no slave auction, no powderpuff game, no special events. Lack of organization and planning was the reason given by James Keema, director of student activities. As Tori Brillantes was crowned Spirit Queen, Renee Hattingh followed closely as princess. The court was presented with flowers and medallions as a remembrance of the occasion. The band Texas played throughout the night while also helping present the court. The dance lasted from 9:30 to 12 p.m. following the Aviation football game CThe Hawks losti. Semper Comitles sponsored the dance with Over the Rainbow as the theme. The decorations were multicolored in the Sea Hawk Pavilion.
