Although the Junior Class was organized when the group were freshmen, the active organization has not como about until this year when many juniors have joined enthusiastically the varied progrnm sponsored under the leadership of Miss Sinsabaugh, class adviser and Bud Burnell, president. ln addition to lower class elections and committee work, members have served this year as chairmen of committees and second semester especially have been elected to student body offices. Among the many activities in which these juniors have engaged, several will be remembered as represent- ing that preparatory year when at last each could say, Now I am a senior, The first interest for most students comes through sports for boys and girls, then having become acquainted, tleey enlarge that sphere of interest to encompass Girls' and Boys' League work, All too soon it's time to order senior rings, for September will find proud seniors dis- playing shining gold emblems of their status for the year. Spring semester, however, holds for some the desire to join and talent and have offers an opportunity and Boys' State, for senior year lie ahead. dramatic circles through the medium of the junior pray, oh, some have already shown interest become members of the Thespian troupe. For those party-minded juniors the junior-senior prom for plans and pleasure, As the junior year nears its close, representatives are selected for Girls' ushers at Baccalaureate and Commencement, and for members of the Ivy Chain.
