A few old tra- ditions deemed quite enticing follow: Nlembers are permitted absence in either first or sixth period study halls. The highest ranking junior in the spring of each year is awarded the presidency of the society and the scholarship mantle, on Which his mono- gram is embroidered. Every year at graduation, students who have been members for six semesters 01' more receive gold pins and membership into C. S. F. for life. Students Who have held membership for four semesters receive another pin. It is customary to take two half-day holidays from school every year, and other activities are planned With addition of regular district banquets.
