It began with the dress up days, then mural competitions followed by the class canned food drive. Instead of the popular bonfire, Redmond had an all school talent show which had a lot of participation. Then came the ever so common class and fac- ulty skits that kept the students laughing. Friday s round up was a great success. The most popular event of the day was the faculty mud wrestling competition. The scram- bling of the participants brought loud chuckles from the crowd. The nights big Homecoming game against the Bothell Cougars was one that will be remembered and the words stated by Jon Bean said it all lt was very intense and exciting. Redmond played hard and came out on top. With three overtimes senior quarterback Rick Meuller The Green Machine in ac1 KL 7 77 7 7 . .ith kept the fans on the edge of their seats. -.Ion Bean made three successful passes to pull out a 24-23 victory over Both- e . All in all with the activities from dress up day to skits and fire- works to Royalty this years Homecoming closed with a jun- gle beat of fun! 71.4 .Ceuwu Swag lub .fungi Day: omecoming was a huge success over past years. The seniors in particu- lar made S5428 profit just on their booth. The seniors worked hard to win every competition. Homecoming was fun and successful in promot- ing school spirit, stated Jon Bean On dress up day the seniors went to the jungle for the theme of Safari . There were some bushes trees and jungle explorers roaming the halls. They were hoping for more people to dress up but the people that did partici- pate were fantastic quoted Gina Evanson. The skit went over well. It was about how the Bothell football team captured the RHS cheer- leaders and took them into the jungle. The RHS football team then rescued the cheerleaders and they all lived happily ever after. Homecomlng was fun and successful ln promotmg school Splrlt. Jon Bean All in all, the mural and the other competitions, including the float, the seniors obviously came out ahead of the rest. They should be proud with the effort they put forth in making this homecoming a memorable one.
