Here is a record of our classes, achievements, and activities of the past year. On these pages you will see a year's progress in the mold- ing of young Christian citizens for the Kingdom of God. May you be able to see something of the aims and ideals to- ward which we strive. May you see something, too, of the faith that gives meaning to our ideals, for ours was a train ing for time and for eternity. PRINCIPAL MR. MARIUS VAN VUREN Congratulations, Class of '66l The faculty shares with you the joy and happiness which is yours on the honored occasion of your grad- uation. Your class motto--Onward and Upward--is a chal- lenging one, suggesting progress in two directions- horizontally and vertically. Education today, by and large, moves on the horizontal plane only, where it seeks and finds its meaning, purposes, and goals. Your training at Redlands Cristian School has been unique in that its meaning, purposes, and goals were sought and found primarily and essentially on the ver tical plane. Your teachers taught you to judge the value of the temporal in the light of the eternal. You have been privileged to receive a Christian ed- ucation in which God was the center and focal point of all instruction. As you leave us may you continue to make true progress onward and upward with the Word of God as your guide and compass.
