The FUTURE TEACHERS CLUB was originated in 1952. The purposes are to present students with the opportunity to discover their possible potential in the field of education, to present positive experiences to the individual about education, and to give the members infomation about attaining the professional requirements of the teacher. The officers are President, Pat Caudellg Vice President, Pat Wellardg Secretary, Louise Yolten, Treasurer, Cathie Palo. Miss Wolfe and Mr. Manthe are the sponsors. FUTURE RSES The FUTURE NURSES CLUB was newly organ- ized last year to promote an interest in nursing. Visiting different schools of nursing, seeing film strips, and sending away for booklets on nursing are some of the things that the club has done to leam more about the profession. The club also makes Christmas toys for a children's hospital. The officers are Bobbie Brovsm, President: Carol Loulcinen, Vice Presi- dentg Mary Nlyers, Secre- tary Treasurer: and Judy Williams, Corresponding Secretary. Each student also works on a project under the direction of a seminar faculty advisor. The seventy faculty members are engineers, physicians, and scientists who live in the community.
