The SCIENCE CLUB iM C DELTA TJ was originated to further interest and knowledge in science at Redford Union. The club activities include the annual Science Fair, projects, lectures, and field trips, and special experiments not covered by the science curriculum. Jewell as the sponsor. President of this club is Judy Schroeder. The purpose is to increase an interest in biology and to give interested persons a chance to work on extra-curricular projects.

Organized in 1947, the JUNIOR CLASSICAL LEAGUE encourages among Latin students an interest in the customs, language, literature, and art of ancient Greece and Rome. Programs, which include talks, plays, panel discussions, and group singing, are presented at the monthly meetings. The Roman Banquet, which is held every spring, is an occasion when students and faculty, all fittingly costumed, enjoy an evening of Roman food and fun. The French Club was originated at Redford Union in 1958 at the request of the French students. The clubis purpose is to give to its I members a better under- standing of the French language and customs. The purposes are to present students with the opportunity to discover their possible potential in the field of education, to present positive experiences to the individual about education, and to give the members infomation about attaining the professional requirements of the teacher. The officers are President, Pat Caudellg Vice President, Pat Wellardg Secretary, Louise Yolten, Treasurer, Cathie Palo. Miss Wolfe and Mr. Manthe are the sponsors. FUTURE RSES The FUTURE NURSES CLUB was newly organ- ized last year to promote an interest in nursing. Visiting different schools of nursing, seeing film strips, and sending away for booklets on nursing are some of the things that the club has done to leam more about the profession. The club also makes Christmas toys for a children's hospital. The officers are Bobbie Brovsm, President: Carol Loulcinen, Vice Presi- dentg Mary Nlyers, Secre- tary Treasurer: and Judy Williams, Corresponding Secretary.
