Herbst, Whss Nledzlgxan, Nlr. Erlckson, and Nlr Crlll Since we were the last freshman class to enter the hugh school, we began our sophomore year still at the bottom of the ladder and wlthout a chance to welcome ln a lower class Shortly after the beglnnlng of school our Washington Club was fomued, and for the next few weeks we sold magazlnes This was the year we began to sponsor some actlvltles ln order to earn money for the class Our flrst attempt at money making was the very successful but dusty Sadle Hawkins Dance Our class was the flrst to sponsor the Bermuda Bounce, at which the glrls wore thelr best bemludas and the more coura geous boys showed thelr knees As JIIHIOFS we were confronted wlth the task of puttlng on the prom, a feat that took the entlre year to plan and complete The prom, called Sprlng Enchantment, was held at Hawthome Valley Country Club and we even man aged to make money on lt, somethnng whlch does not very often happen. 5 .xt , .4 ' 4 ?
