ELAS9 UFFIIIEHS Harry Munger Vice President Linda Moehle Secretary Beverly Brady Treasurer Dave Bm-man P1-egldem CLASS HISTUHY At last we ve made It to the top of the high school ladder What a climb lt was but it was worthwhile every step of the wayl Leadlng our class every year was Dave Burman our president Our senior year began with an introduction to D10Sd8dO fphill Beltran our foreign exchange student from the Philippine Islands our heads off up until the last minute trying to finish our oddly shaped football float But just as our team lost to Belleville so did we lose to the juniors At the end of football season the girls decided to become football stars After choosing sides and practicing on the night of the Sadie Hawkins Dance they bravely staged the Powder Puff football game January Thaw our Senlor Play was also an event of November The cast composed entirely of SCDIOFS made the play a hllarious success ln January our basketball dance appropriately called the Dribble Drag helped us fatten our treasury One of the biggest hlghllghts of our last year was the though after all the waiting we did for it However it will remain one of our fondest mernorles and one of the highlights of our high school years The days flew by after the trlp so that soon we found ourselves preparing for the senior bmnch the class day activities the prom and our long awaited graduation All too soon it was over four years of our lives Now remain only the memorles the friends and the hopes for the future l. 1 i I i 1 1 r Q 9 - - . 9 9 . . . - . , . , . . , , ' ' ' D 5 9 . . . . . . 45 . 91 9 Q 0 As the Homecoming celebration approached, we worked senior trip to Washington, D.C. st' fn 1 1:15352 Mrs Hefbsl Mlss Medzlglan Mr Gnll Mr Enckson EL!-155 HISTUHY Our four years at Redford Union have sped by qulckly It seems onlv a short whlle ago that we flrst assembled ln the gym as bewlldered freshmen A few weeks later, on an appointed day we were rxdlculed and badly mlstreated by the superxor sophomores ThlS was our freshman xnxtlatlon the day when we were smeared wnth llpstlck gummed up wlth tape, smothered ln perfume, and rubbed down wlth garllc We spent the remainder of our first year gettlng acquaxnted wxth the school, the faculty, and our class spon sors Nlrs. Herbst, Whss Nledzlgxan, Nlr. Erlckson, and Nlr Crlll Since we were the last freshman class to enter the hugh school, we began our sophomore year still at the bottom of the ladder and wlthout a chance to welcome ln a lower class Shortly after the beglnnlng of school our Washington Club was fomued, and for the next few weeks we sold magazlnes This was the year we began to sponsor some actlvltles ln order to earn money for the class Our flrst attempt at money making was the very successful but dusty Sadle Hawkins Dance Our class was the flrst to sponsor the Bermuda Bounce, at which the glrls wore thelr best bemludas and the more coura geous boys showed thelr knees As JIIHIOFS we were confronted wlth the task of puttlng on the prom, a feat that took the entlre year to plan and complete The prom, called Sprlng Enchantment, was held at Hawthome Valley Country Club and we even man aged to make money on lt, somethnng whlch does not very often happen. 5 .xt , .4 ' 4 ?
