This class will hold many responsibilities in its new role. A Senior is greatly admired and often copied by the undergraduates. It is the Seniors duty therefore to set a good example in dress conduct scholastic achievement and participation in extra- curricular activities. The Senior also holds a certain obligation to his teachers and school advisors. During the four years prior to graduation these instructors attempt to prepare him for his future whether he goes on to gain a higher education to serve in the armed forces or to take his place in society. His teachers try both to educate him and build in him a strong well rounded character. As a Senior he must look to the years beyond graduation and work with these advisors in their unselfish toil. The foremost responsibility of a senior however is that which he holds to himself. He must endeavor to goin the education offered him to participate in class and school activities and to build in himself a rich character from the elements supplied him during these four years. , It is to these, tomorrow's leaders of Redford High School, that we, the January Class of 1957 dedicate our yearbook. 23
