For the past four years this class has been looking for the keys to future success. lt would be impossible to say exactly what the keys to success are, because everyone has a differ- ent conception of success. But the knowledge gained, the activities participated in, the person- alities formed, and the opinions gathered all make up several of the keys. By continuing to improve their standards of performance, the seniors of June, 1955, should be able to find the keys that will unlock the doors to success. .2- ,. , '!'.f?l L,g5,, , 'Q 4 J 'D' Seniors Sports Faculty Activities Index Table of Contents Page 5 Page 55 WP fi Z r . Not only through organized teams, but in every phase of school life where competition exists, sports- manship is stressed. Redford practices were moved to the Holcomb School because of construction of the new gym here. In addition, no games were played at home, thus reducing normal student body support. Principal Dear Seniors: This edition of the BLAZER, arrlvingas it does in the last few days of the semester, affords me an opportunity to say, Farewell , to all of you. This time of year always brings farewells, but here-to-fore the farewells have always been with expectancy of seeing one another again in the fall after a summer's vacation. This time, however, the farewell carries a more poignant note. Now a variety of paths open up for you, some to college, some to work, some to military service, and some to marriage and starting a home of your own. For all of you, however, they are paths leading away from Redford. We, who have had a hand in your training while here at Redford, wish for you the best of success in whatever path your future may lead you. We hope that your years of prepara- tion here at Redford, in some way, will stand you in good stead in the years to come. We hope we have given you some skills you will find usable and that in addition we have given you some qualities that go to make for good citizenship - humility, loyalty, integrity, a cooperative and moral outlook, manners fit for a man, and that ultimate discipline of self we call maturity. Further, we hope that in the doing of it, we have been able to make these four years at Redford happy years for you. You folks have been refreshing to us. You are now old enough to begln to think and act as mature people and yet you are young enough to still have a strong spirit of idealism. We hope you will keep this issue of the Blazer - your Blazer - lt will become even more precious as the years go by. Come back and see us, whenever you can. Join the Alumni Association and become active in it. Keep alive the memories of your fine four years at Redford. Best wishes to all. Sincerely your friend, fly? .j2. Homer . Clark .fi ,1 Fred ll.
