HHS Yours, the first class to graduate since the war ended, might be called the Victory Class. During your four years at Redford you have felt the most tremendous war of all time. You have known the thrill of co- operating in all sorts of high school war activities: scrap drive, paper drives, Red Cross, the gigantic war bond sales, and many more. Dear Seniors You have been leaders in all these war activities. Well done good and faithful servants. ' The war with all its attendant horrors is over, for which we thank God. But great problems of adjustment lie ahead of us: social, indus- trial, and economic. You boys and girls, the men and women of tomor- row, have a call to service just as important and demanding as that which called our youth to serve in the armed forces. If our country is to go forward to internal peace and prosperity, you, together with the graduates of recent years, must accept this call to serve your country. You must give freely of your best thought, your time, and your strength. This old world, bruised, restless, and uncertain, needs your clean-cut, unselfish help and guidance. Redford High has been a leader in all war activities And it, through you its graduates, must be a leader now-tomorrow. More power to you! Sincerely your friend, WM. R. STOCKING
