19 HONOR FIVE 48 l 1 REDFIELD HONOR SYSTEM The Honor Five are chosen every year from the graduating class. Points are based on the following three phases of school life: Scholarship-figured on a standard scale by superintendent. Citizenship-judged by faculty members on: attitude, initiative, co-opera- tion, loyalty, etc. Achievement-figured on point system by the principal. Athletics-points each year given for letter winners, captaincy, manager, and cheerleader. Music-points for group and solo contest, work, contest winners, band letters and officers. Drama and journalism-points for play cast, stage manager, student di- rector, annual editor, assistant editor, business manager, news editor, assistant editor, sports editor, and class officers. Honors come to those, who by diligence and sincerity make the most of what they have. -25..
