From the PrincipaVs Desk Dear Graduates: Your graduation is not an end but a beginning ... a beginning of greater things to come. What you have learned at Redemptorist High School during the past tour years should enable you to do the greater things for God, your fellow men, and your country. Let the Christlike ideals set before you by your devoted teachers be the principles upon wUiCh you base all future decisions, and you need never fear the consequences of those decisions. Remember that To every man there openeth a way, ways, and a way. And every man decideth the way his soul shall go. The high soul climbs the high way; The low soul gropes the low. In between on misty flats the rest drift to and fro. But to every man there openeth a high way and a low , And every man decideth the way his soul shall go. God bless you and Mary keep you! Devotedly, Sister Mary Philip , S.S.N.D.

From the Pastor s Desk Dear Graduates: Congratulations on having made it! Four years of struggles, bumps, headaches, efforts, joys and sorrows condensed into a piece of paper called a diploma. Your co-operation with the Grace of God under the guidance of teachers, coaches and priests has made this possible. Now comes the time - whether you go to college or get a job - when you will be more on your own. There will be less guidance. But the grace of God will still be there. More and more, it will be you and God. God and you. Hold fast to the principles you heard and learned at Redemptorist High and your life will be a success. It will be happy. Ask our Blessed Mother never to let you stray from them. Sometimes it is going to be difficult, but it will be worth it. You know, for that Diploma of Eternal Happiness. Father Gaydos, C. Ss. R. From the Prefect ' s Desk Dear Graduates: A constant reminder of what it means to be a gradu- ate of Redemptorist High is right there on your finger - your class ring. On the top of the insignia is a crown, surrounded by a wreath of victory - your eternal success. In the middle is the eye of God, ever open, to watch over and guide you in your daily living. Below that is a cross with the sponge and lance of Calvary - the diffi- culties you are bound to meet with in life. On each side of the cross are the names of Jesus and Mary - your per- petual strength and protection. Our prayers are with you that you will be faithful to Him all your life. May God bless you, Mary protect you, and St. Alphonsus guide you. Sincerely, Father Abadie, C. Ss. R.
