ASKET ALL The Bulldogs of Roddick posted an outstanding record during the '57 '58 basket- ball season After winning two games and thon losing two, Roddick showed its ability and went on an eighteen game winning streak, which was the longest in the Kankakee area this season Roddick also posted the boat record in the area with twenty four wins and four losses The individual scores for the twenty eight games were as follows Dick Brusnighan, 671 points, 'Dom Jensen, 3223 Paul Wagner, 1614, Len Schultz, 125, Ivan Risks, 56, Jim HcKol1er, 36, Don Brusnighan, 146, Kent Schott, 555 and Dick Raab, 172 During the season the hxlldogs also won three tourney trophies In addition to winning the L QL Conference Toumoy for the third straight year and copping the season L QL first place trophy, Roddick also won the Flanagan Holiday Tournament and then climaxed the season by winning the Odell District Tourney Roddick proceeded from here to the Regional Toumamont where they defeated Braidwood and then were beaten by Pontiac Four boys on the squad were placed on the L M. Conference team Dick Brusnighln and Tom Jensen were unanimous choices for the first team Paul Wagner was on the second team, and Dick Raab received honorable mention The seniors who will be lost through graduat1on will be Tom Jenson, Dick Brusnighan, Paul Wagner, Ivan Rieke, Lon Schultz, and Jim McKellar The Fresh Soph team also had a successful season tured the L QL season trophy and took fourth place in Next Year'a prospects look promising and it is hoped the Fresh-Soph team did this season.
