The officers of the chapter for 19E7 1958 are president, Darlene Forneris, vice president, Karen Hill, secretary, Janet Jacobsgaard, co secretary, Rena Jo Johnson, treasurer, Janet Meece, parlia mentarian, Darlene Hansen, historian, Judy Styck, reporter, Della Fredericksen, recreation chairmen, Martha King and Anita Schultz The group was honored this year by having a section officer Linda Bossert served as president of Section 18 During the summer Linda Bossert a.nd Darlene Forneris attended the State Lead ershlp Training Camp held at Bloomington, Illnxois The eight-sided emblem of the F H.A symbolizes the significant purposes of the organization The name of the organization and the motto appear around the border In the center is a house which represents a home where there is truth, LOVG, secu rity, and faith This home is supported by two hands, suggesting that the future homes of America are in the hands of its youth Some of the activities of the year included making tray favors for the Veter ans Hospital at Dwight, the annual spaghetti supper, and sponsoring the all school Christmas party The Style Show in March was open to the public and was well at- tended The mothers of members were honored at the meeting and each was glven a carnation. The F.H.A has had a very enjoyable and successful year
