Through these experiences each student of Red Springs High School has grown and matured toward adulthood. It is not well to linger on the past, however, the past should never be forgotten. It has become a part of each individual. School is an experience in living. It is full of relation- ships, ideas, and com- petition. A school is long- awaited triumphs and sudden disappointments, ceaseless chattering and eternal dull- ness, encouraging smiles and disapproving frowns. Our own past school year of 1964-65 has been just such an exper- ience. Experiences of the past continually grow dim and out of focus. Events of only a few years past seem unclear and hazy.People, events, and places which were so mom- mentous in the present di- minish as they drift into the past. The purpose of a year- book is to preserve the happenings of a single year from these invaders of time and inaccuracies of memory. Now or in the future as your memory begins to fade you may recall 1965 in the RED MILL. VM Wm .Wh Wm .Wai Wm
