The hope of all of the annual staffis that the hours and worry have not been in vain. The entire staff has plunged into the task of yearbook publishing with heartfelt re- spect for their predecessors. The business staff has worked tirelesslyg the snapshot and sports editors have searched for elusive snap- shotsg the class editors have alphabetized, listed, and typedg the arts editors stillhave ink on their fingersg and the typing editors have typed and corrected copy. Pleasure and a sense of satisfaction are ample reward for the annual staff as it has tried to portray a memorable year in Red Springs High School. 'Nerf' ' 35 ex tv 'W' .R iam-Kiwi.. ,v 'v I A I I H.: I I FCDREWORD This school year is fading from reality into memories. It is the purpose of the staff of the 1959 RED MILL to recall our acquaintances and our experiences by re- viewing where our shoes have taken us this year. Our shoes have taken us in the science lab, up and down the stairs to classes, to the front steps at lunch time, on the football field, across the stage, on the gym floor, up and down the streets of Washington, D.C., and to the auditorium for chapel. By look- ing back at your footprints on these pages, it is our hope that you will be reminded of the wonderful times you have had at Red Springs High School. McCloskey, War- ren McNeill, and Bruce Schell are members of our school board who have served our community ably, unselfishly, and willingly. Their footprints are stamped indelibly as they have spent hours and hours in planning for the progress of our school. JM Q3 ypgglm DEDICATICDN Eiff- ,sf ,R 'nf ,fl f . V, 7, MMR . if As the years go by, the memories of friends we have made fade with the passage of time. There are those, however, among our acquaintances, the memory of whom is never dulled by the eraser of time. Such a one, who will always be remembered by the RedSprings students, is Mrs. Gibson. She is a serene, unperturbed, deliberate person who has given devotion and unselfish service to the school and community. Her inate quality of humility, her understanding counsel, and her personal charm have endeared her to all. It is with great pleasure and pride that the RED MILL dedicates its 1959 edition to MRS.
