Tennis Team Wraps-Up 11-5 Season The tennis team's goal this year is to win the state, and chances look good that they will. The season, according to Coach Schuler was pretty good. Jerry Ryan, winning first in the Valley City Invitational and second place in the EDC, had a 22-2 season and Rick Dahlen and Dave Geatz, doubles, had a 24-O. l-lampering the tennis program is lack of tennis courts and resulting lack of practice. Mandel Voted Outstanding Player Red River's 1973 team was young and lacked experience. According to Coach Gabrielsen, the term didn't do very well , averaging 10 strokes higher per man than they should have. Red River's team was champions of the Monday Night League , a league composed of Red River, Central, Grafton, Crookston, Mayville-Portland, Hills- boro, East Grand Forks, and Sacred Heart. Jim Mandel was chosen outstanding golfer by his teammates. GOLF TEAM. ROW 1: Nl. Waller, G. Hoistad, B. Nord, J. Mandel. ROW 2: , Q-, J. Koralik, s.
