Jazz Program Grows at RR The Jazz Ensemble has become so popular here at Red River that this year a second stage band was created. Both Jazz Ensembles l and ll were placed in the top ten class A stage bands in the state and competed in the state wide competition at Valley City. Jazz Ensemble I took the second place stand- ing this year. Even though Stage Band is not an organized class, the students find it exciting and enjoyable, working towards several jazz concerts throughout the year. l 98 jazz ensemble I

Eighty Sophomores Audition for Chorus Sophomore chorus provides an introduction to vocal music at Red River. Chosen by audition this mixed group serves as an orientation for kids making the jump from junior high to high school music.
