Also seated are Margaret Mclntyre, artistg Lee Honeyman, business managerg and Mr. Lockridge, staff advisor. Before the staff are the twelve issues of the Oak published by these students during the 1939-10 school year. The Lit Club donates two books each year to the college library. Members are chosen on the basis of their literary appreciation, scholastic ability, and personality. Last Fall Betty Brayton was elected presidentg Portia Jolas, vice- presidentg and Margaret Mclntyre secretary-treasurer. Portia Jolas be- came president with the beginning of the second semester with Mary Jane Hrunnworth as Vice-president and Norma Cooper as secretary-treasurer.
