NVELDON M.1.T'rHews Buck, as he is known to his companions, is a person of high ambition. He is one who shares sorrow with those who are sad and re- joices with those who are glad. The phrase, l can't, is not in his vocabulary: but the one, l'll try, is quite familiar. He has many friends at Red Oak and will make others wherever he goes. We are expecting great things from him. Someday we will be calling him Dr. Matthews instead of just, Buck, ESTELLE LAUGHTER Estelle is always willing and ready to do anything that is for the betterment ofthe Class, She is never found idle. lf she is not studying, she is reading some good book. Her winning personality makes her welcome everywhere. lf she posesses a temper, we have never dis- covered it. When around her, it is impossible for anyone to wear a long face, for with her jokes and laughter she drives the blues away. XVe predict a bright future for Estelle in what- ever line of work she chooses. LINDA GR.-xv MELTON Linda Gray has been with us only two years, but during that time she has meant a great deal to the Class. She studies and always works- not only to get high grades, but to really ac- complish something worth while. All who know her admire her on account of her splen- did qualities. The fact that she was voted the best all-round girl in high school proves that Linda Gray holds a high place in the esteem of her fellow students. VVe feel sure that suc- cess awaits her in whatever held of work she decides to enter. 1'wt'r1ly-jim'
