Istnxr-1 Coi.t.rNs lrene's charms, cheery smiles, and winning ways have won for her a permanent place in the hearts of the Class of 'Q-l. Every one ad- mires her for her sterling qualities. She is a friend to everyone, and is always ready to greet you with a smile. Her enthusiasm and pep has made her one of our most valuable members. Staying in the same old rut does not appeal to her, and she is always willingto start something new, provided she thinks it is worth while. Entrusting a task to her is ample proof that it will be successfully completed. We feel safe in saying that we never would have had an Annual had it not been for her tireless etiorts. , - if. M Aitcsixiuei' COLEY Margaret, the prettiest girl in school, is the same sweet girl wherever you see her. She has worked with us since her second year in high school, and has always been ready and willing to do her part. She has many qualities of a true student, including a charming per- sonality and an infinite patience, by which she has won the love and friendships of all her classmates. To Margaret is due the praise for such hright hopes for our successful future. Tmivus Coi,s'roN Temp is a girl with a smile for every occasion and an occasion for every minute in the day. She is always the same genial, happy-hearted girl, who gains the admiration of many. Her unselhshness, her loyalty, and her perseverance have succeeded in making her one of our most faithful members. Temp's complete mastering of the Teacher-Training Course indicates that she will meet success in the field of education. We wish her the best o' luck. Twcnly-one

1 NOLIA Fonsvri-1E Nolia, one of our most faithful workers, is especially fond of History and English. Her classmates will remember her as a careful and honest student, who was entirely independent in her work. If such qualities as truthfulness, faithfulness, and determination help a person to succeed, then, Nolia need have no fear of failure. When she has work to do, she does it, then she has plentyof time forfun. Nolia's motto is A stitch in time saves nine. ESTELLE ELLEN We are proud of the fact that we have one girl in our class with curls. We are proud, not only of her curls, but of her-Estelle. Though laughing and jolly, she devotes much of her time to the worth-while things. She shows much Class spirit and is always willing to go as the Class goes. Her sweet disposition and charming personality help her in winning friends wherever she goes. Whether the task be great or small she is always ready and willing to do her part. What would we do without her? JAMES GLENN Although James came here from another state, he is not a foreigner. He has made many friends since he has been in our midst. He is a star both on the Class and on the football Field. When he says Boys, let's go, you may be sure that something is going to happen, James is eager to listen to others gab, but has very little to say himself. We are sorry that this is the only year that he has spent among us, for he is, indeed, a great help in all' class activities. We wish him much success in his study of medicine at U. N. C.
