ffm W? ..r. Many male students of Red Lion High School plan to enter industrial occupations directly after graduation. To enable these students to acquire successful and rewarding jobs our industrial arts department provides training in me- tal, wood, graphic arts, and drawing. Since modem teach- ing methods include practical application, our students print the school paper, the LEONID, and many other forms used in school administration. Mr. Gary Mummert, Mr. Ward The Practical BACHMAN, KENNETH, B.S., M.Ed .... Woodworking, MOORHEAD, RITCHIE, B.S .... Mechanical Drawingg Archery Club. Among Mr. Moorhead's summer activities were attending college and participating in competitive riile shooting. WITHERS, LOWELL, B.S., M.Ed .... Industrial Arts, Metal Shop. During the summer, Mr. Withers worked in industry as a draftsman. YORKS, WARD, B.S., M.Ed. . . . Graphic Arts. Mr. Yorks attended the Intemational Graphic Arts Education Work- shop at the I.T.U. School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She also at- tended Millersville State College this summer. SECHRIST, ELLEN, R.D.H. . . . School Dental Hygienist. Sewing, painting. reading, andxgardening are some of Mrs. Sechrist's interests. During the summer, she attended Mill- ersville State College, MILLER, MARCIA, B.S. Library . . . Library Club. Dur- ing the summer, Mrs. Miller visited Expo '67 and she also went on a Caribbean cruise. Sewing and reading are some of her hobbies. E! N. .. The school physician, Dr. Edward Holland, administers the tuber- culin skin test to a member of the Sophomore Class. Choosing the proper courses of study is a very important task in each student's life. A yearly personal conference with one of the guidance counselors eases this task. Infor- mation about colleges, trade schools, and occupations can also be obtained from the guidance department. Sound guidance fosters a secure future. Books are used as tools of knowledge to broaden and to enrich the student's life. Our school library contains a vari- ety of books ranging from scientific data to romantic sto- ries. Our well equipped library statisfies each student's spe- cific interest whether fiction, nonfiction, or reference. By storing todays knowledge, our lib1'ary constantly helps stu- dents to prepared for tomorrow's future.
