I-'orlll THE CUB Sf Forty-one BOYS' VARSITY lVith three varsity members of last year's team back, and several can- didates that seemed to show splendid possibilities, Coach Nitchkey saw a real opportunity to develop a good fast team. Facility Manager, Mr. Johnston, immediately began to correspond with other schools. Some of them old 1'ivals of the school and others entirely new. Finally the schedule was completed with twenty-three games. Only eight of these were league tilts. Later, two additional games were added. The members of the varsity are as follows: Craley, Hall and Bicking, forwardsg Seaks and Zeigler, centersg Lutz tCaptainl, Ness, and Lauer, guards. This group of players won twenty-one games out of twenty-tive. The team is believed to be one of the most successful seasons in the history of basketball of Red Lion Ili.
