BOARD OF EDUCATION The Board of Education is the policy-making body of our school. It is through their tireless efforts that our school is able to provide the educational program for all the boys and girls of our district. A great deal of thanks is due these gentlemen for unselfishly giving of their time in the interests of the education of our youth. OUR PRINCIPAL OUR SUPERIN TEN DEN T Mr. John E. Loveless is our District Superintendent of Schools. He acts very capably as a liason between our school and the State Education Depart ment ir1 Albany. His duties are many and varied, and his supervision covers three other schools in addition to Red Jacket. No matter how busy Mr. Love less may be with the problems of the four schools, he always seems to find time to help us with our reports, financial problems interpretation of Educa tion Department laws and requirements, and the many other demands we make upon his time. Our principal, Mr. Neil J. Harkenrider, is a very busy man carrying out his many duties. How- ever, he always has time to think of his students, their problems, and ways in which to better Red Jacket. We, the Class of '57 . wish to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude for the guidance Mr. Harkenrider has given us. Our Vice- principal, Mr. Harold C. Contant, is always busy managing the school's OUR VICE PRINCIPAL financial affairs. He also shares many administrative duties. .We would like to give Mr. Contant special thanks for guiding and advising us throughout our senior year.
